Partners

partnership Distributed energy is complicated and diverse. Few organisations have the complete set of skills, experience and assets required to deliver large-scale distributed energy projects. So, we collaborate, rather than competing. We focus on what we do best, and partner with other specialists such as private developers, social housing providers, professional service providers, suppliers, and investors.

Our business partners.

Where we don’t have a skill, experience and / or assets, we work with high calibre partners who do. Insite Energy is an example: a joint venture between Fontenergy and Rydon, it provides metering and billing services to UK customers connected to communal and district heating networks.

Our development partners.

We work with developers to deliver distributed energy schemes.
Examples include joint venture ESCO projects with:
Rydon Group on the 730-home Green Man Lane development in Ealing, London.
Places for People one of the UK’s largest social housing providers,
on an EU project to implement Energy Performance Contracting.
Catalyst Lend Lease a prominent PFI and waste-to-energy company, evaluating opportunities for investment into biomass CHP.
We also work with ENN Solar, part of one of China’s largest privately owned energy companies, currently focused on developing high efficiency thin film solar modules. As part of our relationship, Fontenergy and ENN Solar have formed a joint venture investment company for large-scale photovoltaic projects.

Our supply partners

Fontenergy establishes long term relationships with suppliers to deliver high quality energy systems at low cost. Current partners include the manufacturer of our carport Sol.evo and our containerised biomass product, the installer of our integrated solar roofs, and one of Denmark’s oldest and most respected district heating engineering consultancies.

Our investment partners

Fontenergy has developed investment partnerships for several types of low carbon development, including industrial-scale roof top solar development in Italy, ESCO development in the UK and deployment of containerised plant room to social housing developments.
