Fontenergy

Fontenergy provides large scale building-integrated photovoltaic systems to industrial and commercial buildings. These systems can also enable developers to meet carbon reduction requirements on mixed use schemes.

Integrated solar roofing may involve replacing an existing roof, or simply require the addition of a mounting structure. Commercial arrangements are similarly flexible.

Under an ESCO arrangement, Fontenergy buys the right to the roof, usually for 20-25 years. We operate and maintain the system over the life of the contract. The system becomes the property of the site owners at the end of the term.

We also sell large scale photovoltaic plants under an EPC (engineering, procurement, construction) arrangement whereby we deliver the system as a turnkey project. Purchasers are then able to take advantage of financial incentives and zero carbon electricity generated by the system.

Fontenergy has 3MW under contract for installation in 2010, with a further 6MW under contract for installation in 2011. In total, Fontenergy aims to install a total of 15MW by the end of 2011.
